Growing from a thickly accented hip hop background, Tonio Sagan has carried the ideas and concepts of the genre with him to his latest stage of modern production and performance. Sagan seeks to implicate much more than just hip hop inspiration though; fusing in an expansive blanket of various modern, and sometimes future electronic music techniques, his sound has become impossible to pin down to a single, encapsulating phrase.

A frequent collaborator, with the likes of beatbox deviant Honeycomb, among others, Tonio Sagan continues to develop musical relationships and further press the boundaries of his own sound. In 2016, Sagan was officially announced as a member of Wakaan, the newly founded label from renowned artist Liquid Stranger. 

Each new release of Sagan's holds a light to the future of bass music. In doing so, he continues to reflect his musical teachings, learning and background, instilling the ideas of countless past musical greats into new, electrifying manifestations.
