Funkadelphia Recordings is the digital label and sister company of Funkadelphia.

 

Together, Funkadelphia & Funkadelphia Recordings strive to maintain a thoughtful and original perspective on music and art in general. We strive to discover and elevate new musicians and artists to audiences that want to see them, hear them, and most importantly, appreciate them.

 

The label is home to the Funkadelphia free compilation series, as well as solo releases from Funkadelphia affiliated artists.

 

 

HISTORY

Funkadelphia released its first compilation, It's Always Sunny In Funkadelphia in March of 2014. The release features 19 original tracks from a hand selected roster of brilliant producers. 

 

Funkadelphia Recordings launched January 8th, 2015, with its debut release (and second release in the Funkadelphia free compilation series), Pulp FUNKtion, which once again features 15 never before released, exclusive tracks from a divere pallet of producers. Soonafter, the label followed with its debut solo release, the DownTumb0  EP, from Philadelphia producer Mutomb0. Since, Funkadelphia Recordings has served home to a succulent plethora of releases from artists all throughout the northeast United States, as well as maintained its thriving compilation series.
